Welcome to the digital pages of TheGulfNest.com. We take the privacy and safety of our online calculator visitors and energy management trainees very seriously. This documentation maps out how we receive, regulate, process, and secure user information on our pages under the federal legislation of the United Arab Emirates, specifically the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) (Federal Decree-Law No. 45/2021).

1. Local Storage of Calculation Data

TheGulfNest.com is designed fundamentally as a client-side calculation application. We do not ask for, collect, transfer, or store any personal credentials on third-party cloud servers. We explicitly do not collect your actual legal name, household location details, personal phone digits, or DEWA/ADDC/SEWA account identifiers.

Any usage details, square footage constants, and electrical appliance constants utilized inside our interactive calculator stay stored completely within your native internet browser's temporary storage (localStorage). This system allows you to clear metadata at any point by purging your browsing cache.

2. Traffic Inspection & Google Analytics

To maintain system deployment integrity and improve UI structures, we process depersonalized web telemetry:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4): We execute GA4 tracking queries using masked internet IP protocols. GA4 registers only generalized geographical metrics (such as the city of connection), rendering all analytics values anonymous.
  • Amazon Associates Program: We leverage affiliate associations to suggest helpful smart thermostats and home instruments. These outbound routes placement include a 24-hour cookie tag allowing attribution tracking.

3. Compliance and User Protection Rights

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), citizens and residents retain the right to clarify how digital assets process technical values. As we store zero personal databases, there is no threat of structural database manipulation, identity harvesting, or profiling.

4. Communications
